Who are BAM?

Twin sisters from Glasgow, Elaine and Jen, created BAM to combine our love of great coffee and vintage shopping. We opened our shop in December 2018. It’s been just over five years on Nithsdale Road and we love our community in the Southside.

What is BAM?

We wanted to create an inclusive space to enjoy speciality coffee and encourage people to shop more in a sustainable way. We also love to celebrate local, independent artists and makers, so you can browse a wonderful range of gifts and home wares while you wait for a perfectly made flat white.

Upstairs, we sell espresso based drinks and retail beans from our favourite coffee roasters alongside cake by local bakers and delicous food provisions from local, artisan makers. Downstairs, you can find a curated range of ready to wear vintage clothing in a rainbow of colours and print, in a wide range of sizes.

Why BAM?

It stands for Bunty And Margaret, the women responsible for inspiring our concept. Margaret, our Gran, is the one who taught us how to bake and the importance of a good cup of tea. Her sister, Bunty, our Great Aunt is the reason we love a charity shop and all things vintage.

Where is BAM?

You can find us at 44 Nithsdale Road, in the South side of Glasgow, Scotland and online on Instagram.
